WV Walks: 30+ Minutes Daily

Calendar

The following are calendars for the initial 8-week campaign and follow-up booster. (PDF format)!

EVENT DESCRIPTIONS

Labyrinth:
The early Christian church used the Labyrinth as a spiritual practice.  The Labyrinth is a circular walk which takes about 30 minutes. It is a purposeful walk which represents our spiritual journey. You begin the walk by letting go of any stress, worry, struggles or burdens you may have. Then you open yourself up to God -- to talk with God, to listen to God and to be receptive to what God chooses to reveal to you. The Labyrinth is essentially a prayerful walk or meditation from which you will benefit in a physical, emotional and spiritual way.

The labyrinth will be in the Woodland United Methodist Church gymnasium. The church is located on the Mileground. Times for this event are: Wednesday – Friday, March 16-18 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Saturday, March 19 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This is a meditation walking experience. For more information: Rev. Rick Sale (304-296-4029)
