WV Walks:  30+ Minutes Daily

The Dominion Post Lecture Series: “Talk the Walk”


This series took place MONDAYS 5 pm – 6 pm, March 21 to May 16 at the
Monongalia County Health Dept (453 Van Voorhis Road).


All sessions were free and open to the public.  We learned the art and science of walking and how to shape up for better health.

  • May 16: Walking your Dog to Your Good Health, Dr. Bill Reger-Nash

* Screening for all participants included height, weight, blood pressure, and a lifestyle assessment questionnaire. Participants between the ages of 40 and 65 also qualified for a free blood lipid profile, courtesy of Ruby Hospitals.
