WV Walks: 30+ Minutes Daily

Rails to Tails

On April 17th, the third Dog Walk event for the WV Walks Campaign took place at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. The weather was beautiful and the turnout was impressive. About 75 people and 50 dogs came out for this event. Both dogs and owners alike were having a wonderful time. People and dogs came out to show their support while enjoying the great weather.

The Humane Society and Animal Friends also attended, distributing information on pet care and adoption as well as homemade doggie biscuits. There were several four legged friends at the event looking for homes as well. The Humane Society brought a few of their most affectionate dogs with them sporting "Adopt Me" bandanas. It was a wonderful event full of tail wagging fun for all!

We hope to continue to increase the attendance for the fourth Rails to Tails event on May 1st at 1 pm at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Park!
