WV WALKS Kicks Off at the Radisson on the Waterfront in Morgantown, WV.

Information on walking and campaign events was available for those attending the kickoff.

It was a packed house for inspiring WV WALKS speakers/promoters.

The audience was fully equipped for their first walk of the campaign.

Mrs. Meadows' 4th grade class from Mountainview Elementary helped make the kickoff a huge success.

Local pets dragged their owners out for the WV WALKS kickoff.

The Diabetes Learning Center of Mon General Hospital was in full affect on the trail after the official kickoff.

Armed with their blue West Virginia University Hospital balloons, WV WALKers made their first strides to a healthier tomorrow.

WV WALKS Director, Dr. Bill Reger-Nash makes sure he gets his 30 minutes in.

What a great day for a 30 minute walk. Thanks to all who made the kick off possible and to all of those who made it out for 30 minutes or more.
