WHY DO YOU WALK?
I exercise to stay fit and to spend time with my wife.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WALKING?
I enjoy walking because it is social, an easy way to stay fit, a nice way to see
the community, and it can be done anywhere.
WHAT IS YOUR TOUGHEST OBSTACLE TO WALKING?
The toughest obstacle is finding the time to walk. It must compete with my work
and other demands on my time.
WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR NEW WALKERS?
Keep it simple, start easy and build up slowly. Find a partner to walk with and
find someplace close to home to walk.
WHAT IS THE COOLEST BENEFIT OF WALKING?
The thing I like best about walking is the social interaction with other
walkers.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SURPRISE ABOUT WALKING?
I enjoy seeing the community and watching the seasons change.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
There are several great places to walk inside in the winter – malls and the
coliseum. Morgantown neighborhood streets are great to walk.
